A'Labyrinthing Feb 2006

5 February 2006

The day of the Superbowl, Crystal and I decided we were going crush the City under our fashionable heels. We ended up going A'Labyrinthing instead. This time hitting a more central section than the North Bay A'Labyrinthing in 2004. The first stop was the Willard Labyrinth in Berkeley. The next stop was the Fairview Labyrinth in Hayward. The next stop was the Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. Our final stop was the Lands End Labyrinth on One Mile Rock Beach. All of the labyrinths we saw that day were 11-circuit Chartes styles ones.

Willard Labyrinth
The East Bay Labyrinth project painted a labyrinth at the Willard Middle School 2425 Stuart Street, Berkeley (on Telegraph between Derby and Parker). It is open during non-school hours.

It is down from the Palace of the Legion of Honor and you have to walk to it. It is a rock formation on a large plateau overlooking the inlet adjoining the Pacific Ocean and the San Francisco Bay. Here is an Article and pictures about Eduardo Aguilera and his labyrinths
