Early in 2005 I became infatuated with a country singer, Trace Atkins. So tall, so strong, such a deep voice, *sigh*. I heard he was going to be playing at the Saddle Rack, a small country dance club and I imediately bought a ticket. I didn't have anyone to take and it was hard to admit to people that I liked country music because of how many of the people I hang around with look down on it. I ended up going alone and had a really good time. There were some real boring times but we all got into the grove when Trace was on stage. And he was wonderfully close. I doubt I would enjoy a larger venue. I am surprised they allow cameras. I remember when that was not possible. No, the shots aren't good, my camera isn't that wonderful, but they do provide me with nice jogs to the memory. I love the way that man moves on stage. Can I have one for my own, please?
